With connected air sensors, it provides real-time data and tailored recommendations to help users visualize and monitor indoor air quality.

Health-Conscious Market, Crowded Space
Health awareness is at an all-time high post-COVID. To stand out, products must be unique and designed around users.
Winning in this market requires products that are distinct and user-centered.

When Complexity Drives Users Away
The audit revealed poor usability was causing users to disengage. Jargon and unclear data left them confused and more likely to leave.
This problem wasn’t unique: most competitors overloaded users with jargon, making their tools confusing even for experts.

Using user insights, I prioritized clarity and accessibility in the redesign.
I redesigned the interface with clarity and accessibility in mind — simplifying language, highlighting key information, and guiding users with visuals and prompts. The objective was to help users navigate the tool effortlessly and take action with confidence

An intuitive interface designed for quick navigation, key insights, and confident decisions.

In a simulated air quality emergency, participants tested both interfaces. The old version caused hesitation, while the new one led to faster, more confident actions.
I designed 3 scenarios to test user interactions, timing their performance and conducting follow up questions to understand their thoughts and feeling throughout each task.
Based on the feedback from these tests I refined the interface and functionality to address usability issues.
